Privacy notice

This notice explains what this website collects, why it is collected, and how to request access or deletion.

Effective October 19, 2026

Information collected

The beta request form collects your email address, which CBB World plan you have (Maximus, Legacy, or no plan), any features you choose to tell us you expect to use, and any optional comment you provide.

Why it is collected

This information is used to invite testers to the Earcrate beta, contact you about it, and decide which features to build first. Requesting access does not guarantee a TestFlight invite. Your plan is asked only to understand who is interested; Earcrate does not connect to or verify your CBB World account.

How this site handles requests

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes form submissions. Requests are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database on behalf of Earcrate. Cloudflare also receives technical request information, including IP addresses, when it serves the site.

To limit repeated submissions, the site creates a hash from your IP address and the current date and uses it to track submission attempts. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the request database. These records are used for abuse prevention, not visitor identification.

If email notifications are enabled, Cloudflare processes a notification containing your email address, plan, selected features, optional comment, and request reference for delivery to Earcrate.

Website analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors find the site and whether the page and beta form are useful. When enabled, analytics records page visits, referral websites, campaign labels, browser and device information, which feature tabs are selected, request-access link clicks, clicks elsewhere outside forms, and beta form views, starts, errors, and successful submissions.

Our analytics is configured without cookies or browser storage. PostHog processes technical request information, including your IP address and browser information, to create a temporary visitor identifier that changes daily. We do not create identified visitor profiles, record browsing sessions, or send your email address or form answers to PostHog. Automatic click events contain limited page-element structure, without page text, input values, arbitrary attributes or link destinations; forms and editable controls are excluded from automatic click collection. Page URLs omit arbitrary query parameters and fragments, and referral URLs are reduced to their website origin.

Analytics is disabled when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Hosting providers may still process operational information to deliver and secure the site. Learn more in PostHog’s privacy policy.

Access or deletion requests

To request access to or deletion of information you submitted through this site, email ryanipete@gmail.com. Enough information may be requested to locate and verify the relevant submission.
